The hardware upgrade is now standard on all new IQ equipment packages beginning July 2025. Existing operators may need to purchase both a new announcer unit (if their system has older hardware) and the audio package upgrade to unlock the additional messages.

Hardware Requirements

New Equipment (July 2025+):

• Comes standard with the latest announcer hardware, fully compatible with the 16-message package

Existing Equipment:

• If you have the green-cable announcer, you already have the latest hardware but will need the audio package upgrade to access the new messages.
• If you have the older gray-cable announcer, you will need to purchase a new announcer unit along with the audio package upgrade.
