We’re excited to announce the release of the New 16 Message Announcer, now included as standard hardware on all IQ and IQ MAX systems beginning July 2025.
This latest-generation announcer supports up to 16 programmable messages, including Enter, Stop, Backup, Exit, Pass-Specific messages (such as Scan Pass), and a new Shutdown alert triggered during wash faults.
Important Update Information
While all new IQ systems now ship with the new announcer hardware, the additional messages beyond the standard audio set require the purchase of an Audio Package Upgrade to be unlocked.
For existing sites:
Green-Cable Announcer: Already has the latest hardware—only the Audio Package Upgrade is needed.
Gray-Cable Announcer: Requires both a new announcer unit and the Audio Package Upgrade to access all 16 messages.
After purchase, the upgrade will be delivered automatically via over-the-air (OTA) update, ensuring the new features are enabled quickly with minimal setup.
